Challenge:
Increase brand awareness. Get Portuguese to know the term “digital photo book”.  Beat the Guinness World Record for the largest photo book.
 
Idea:
Create a patriotic movement to gather Portuguese in the construction of the world’s largest photo book under the theme “Portugal, the best destination”.  The idea was to promote Portugal as the best destination in the world by creating this big photo book album with pictures of what Portugal has best to offer its visitants.  To do this Dreambooks needed pictures of landscapes, monuments, gastronomy, people, etc. Portuguese were invited to share their view of the country and upload pictures of the best in Portugal in the website of the campaign in www.portugalmelhordestino.pt.
The website included a voting system to elect the 10.0000 pictures that would be printed in the album.
This campaign was spread strongly by digital and social media and also through PR (including a roadshow and exhibition of the album in several cities). The campaign has had also the support from the Portuguese actor, Diogo Morgado, and several other Portuguese public figures as well as public institutes, brands and media channels.
 
Results:
- 15 000 contributors
- 77,053 uploaded photos
- 250 contacts on Media (newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, websites)
- 52,920 client contacts
- 198% sales increase
