Built for the World Premiere at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York on June 1, 2007. Assisted on setting up appliques, laying out/cutting for hand painting and assembled asymmetrical hoop panniers for this elaborate Carabosse costume.
Carbosse's disguise utilizes hooping to achieve geometric lines away from the body. My roles on this costume included cutting, pinning, some machine work, and cutting/assembling nylon hoops.
Puss In Boots character on which I assisted by cutting tights, boots and top, as well as the doublet. Assembled the fur elements on tail and faux "puffs" on slashed sleeves.
