The Legend of Beijing
Since 938, Beijing has been the capital of the last five feudal dynasties in Chinese history (the secondary capital of Liao and the capital of Jin and Central, Yuan Dadu, Ming and Qing dynasties).
Most people do not know the stories and legends about the founding of Beijing, and a small number of people have vague memories of this part of the story and legends. This design practice takes "The story of the constructing of Beijing" as the theme, revolves around the myths and legends of old Beijing, folk festivals and patterns and other elements, carries on the design research, induction and refinement, tries to explore and solve how to integrate the ancient special blocking regional ethnic culture and culture, and expresses it through the illustration design technique.
Each of us for the many old Beijing legend, have their own special way of understanding, in the form of a visual metaphor, through the story metaphor of images of different qualities to performance, with space to create visual dialogue, expressed in a new language to find each other's way, visual metaphor methods will pay more attention to the expression and the expression of emotion, The choice of traditional cultural elements and carriers highlights my interpretation of the theme.

明初，燕王朱棣下令其两大军师刘伯温和姚广孝俩人设计北京城的图样，他俩领旨去查看地形，一个往南走一个往北走，接着画起图纸来，两个人画着画着都迷迷糊糊地睡着了；听见八臂哪吒的声音在呼唤他们，等他们醒来发现眼前同时出现了一个红孩子的模样，头上梳着小抓簪，半截腿露着，光着脚丫子，穿着红裤子红袄。小红袄很像一件荷叶边的披肩，肩膀两边有浮镶着的软绸子边，风一吹真像几只臂膀似的。刘伯温建设北京城，哪吒唤四象神兽来助阵。

黑龙潭附近有个叫白龙潭的地方，住着一条白龙，白龙想抢龙女，可是龙女和龙婆都不同意，白龙大怒，约定三天后较量。为了填饱肚子以备于三日后大战，龙婆借用白龙潭的小鱼小虾作为一顿粮食，要是战败了便让龙女的生命偿还；三天两夜之后，白龙和龙婆一齐战死在潭里，龙女看见龙母战死了，心里悲痛至极，可是想起必须偿还大鱼小鱼的生命；龙女一跺脚狠力往潭边的石头一撞，立刻粉身碎骨落入黑龙潭中，变成了一种奇怪的鱼，宽尾巴，上下都有长鳍，最特别的是太阳一照，全身都五光十色，人们都说那是龙女的绣花衣裳，两腮各有一个翠蓝色小圆光，人们都说那是龙女的翠玉耳环。
“白龙昼饮潭，修尾挂石壁”是北宋著名文学家苏澈留在这里的诗句。

北京是金朝的首都；广安门外的莲花池，是金宫的御花园。那著名的卢沟桥，也是金章宗下令修建的。
传说，有一天晚上，章宗同宫娥彩女在后宫玩乐。肴佳、酒美，舞曼、歌轻，不知不觉已经夜静更深。金章宗梦见佳人；其名魏紫，她奉姐姐姚黄之命，想请章宗去百花谷，她接下绿玉佩曰：明日，陛下西出卢沟桥。，照直向前走就是了，遇到高山就抛玉问路。

北京的八臂哪吒城修建完后，龙公听说刘伯温和姚广孝离开了；就带着龙子顺着地下的水道来到北京城地下，看见一处海眼便往上撞，但上面有“镇物”。有一天，他们走到北京城东北方向，又看见一处海眼，往上撞便出了地面，这地方就是后来的北新桥。
龙公和龙子撞出海眼后，龙公变成了一个老公公，龙子变成了一个年轻的小伙子，父子俩带着水就上来了。一眨眼功夫，北新桥的一南一北一东一西全成了大河；附近老百姓哭天喊地，唯有龙公龙子浮在水面洋洋得意。
姚广孝听闻北新桥有恶龙作怪，便拿好宝剑飞快往北新桥奔来，他用剑一指，三划两划就把水止住了，此时龙公对龙子使了个眼色，父子俩各自亮出一把青龙剑狠狠朝着姚广孝扎来，姚广孝急架相迎，父子联手，姚广孝眼看就要败北，一瞬间哪吒出来相救，只听见龙公哎哟一声，就躺在水面上了，大腿鲜血直流。小龙也在一愣神的功夫被姚广孝一剑扎倒。龙公、龙子被抓住后，北新桥四个方向的水也随之落下去，并且永远也不会再涨起来了。事后，姚广孝把龙公锁在北新桥的海眼里，把龙子锁在崇文门镶桥下的海眼里。
