'if you ask for a cafe in Italy, you will be shown a nearest bar — caffe, a place where locals start the day with a cup of coffee, continue it with lunch and come again to share a glass of negrony with friends.'

this is what Caffé Mandy’s about: a restaurant, a bar, a shop. Referencing the traditional New York brasserie, it mixes the world's cuisines and cultural codes. A piece of Manhattan in the heart of Moscow.

the nineteen were approached by the owners of a well known Mandy's Apothecary to create a visual language for their new venue, mixing old a new so naturally that it might have become an illegitimate child of Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga. And this is what we did: a venue that seems to exist for years, funny yet serious, unique yet traditional, bright yet conservative at the same time.
