After leading the AIGA VCU Studio Tours in New York, I decided that a thank you note wasn't enough for the studios that welcomed us in. So I created a custom pattern for each of the studios based on the things that made an impression on us. these patterns were printed on kraft paper, and sewn into small sachets that I filled with coffee beans from a local roastary. A small note was attached to the front with the same method, assuring that no adhesives were used so the package would stay food-safe.
