Challenge Lonelyness

Research
If you asked someone in 2019 how loneliness looks like, they would probably describe an older person who looks forlorn out of a window of walking down the street by themselves. However, that image is just one aspect of loneliness, in fact it has many faces and/or ways of showing itself. Loneliness is something anyone can feel.
And while adolescents don't typically describe or see themselves as lonely, they do feel that way. For many those feelings last for short duration, for smaller group these feeling can last for months and even years. 3% to 10% of Dutch adolescents (Lodder, 2019) is loneliness something will carry with them for a long time. And how longer they have those feelings, the harder it'll be to get rid of those feelings.
Prototype
Below you'll find 2 prototype I made for this project.  The first version is more focussed on the setup of the account and the second versions more on the different pages found in the app. Both had a round of user testing.
The result

The concept 'challenge'; Where users can challenge themselves and others to work on different skill of their choosing. However, that is not all, one of the most important aspects of the app is that users can ask for help at any point.  This is so, that users cab become familiar with the different faces that can help them later on, in the hopes that asking for personal help  will become more approachable.
