Armenian Volunteer Corps (AVC) - Remotely Volunteering

Before the world was put on hold, when traveling and living experiences were possible, Armenian volunteer corps (AVC) and I were in the middle of preparation of my volunteering service and to live the best days of my life during last March 2020. Needless to say, dreaming about my next adventures or visualizing my next fulfilling experience was the only hope in these tough times to keep me breathing! In April 27 2020, I joined the team of AVC remotely, exactly one month later of our scheduled agenda. I hoped that this volunteering remotely will compensate for my physical in-person volunteering experience in Yerevan, Armenia.

Encouraged by my older sister adventure, whom previously did volunteer service 2 years in a row with AVC in Armenia. I decided to discover Armenia in my own different point of view. Wanting to live a professional international experience that allows me to enrich the multicultural dimension of my profile, through meetings and exchanges of views on various topical theme. As Lebanese of Armenian descent, I have always been attracted by the international workshops, meetings, and in particular living the local life of Armenians living in Armenia and their culture.

I volunteered with the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund remotely and Ardook from April 2020 till August 2020. I stopped volunteering due to Beirut Explosion that happened on August, 4th. The communication is excellent; the cooperation with the team members is very professional and efficient. And looking forward to building an exceptional long-term relationship with them.

The only thing missing is the human contact in-person with my AVC team and my homeland, Armenia.
