「光景玻璃回收站」以玻璃為載體、光為媒介，輔以行動的參與讓裝置產生變化，營造回收與創造在循環經濟中的雙向互動，藉此達到「具意義的回收行為」，落實春池對玻璃無限循環的理念，並讓大眾參與其中。站點兼具互動性、美感及良好的機能性，同時更可作為具教育性的城市街景的公共藝術裝置。

Achieving the goal of "meaningful recycle movement", Interactive Glass Recycle Bin makes a smart use of texture and reflectivity of glass material, creating a bi-way interaction between people and glass recycling. It is not only a recycle bin, but also an interactive aesthetic and educational public installation.

I. Collaboration with Spring Pool Glass ｜產學合作計畫 × 春池玻璃

「以回收玻璃作為循環經濟之載體。」

本次設計合作以春池玻璃提倡之 W 春池計畫的「玻璃回收」、「循環再造」兩核心概念進行玻璃回收體驗設計。希望大眾在回收過程中能有更深刻的參與體驗，同時藉由循環再造的產物提升前期階段的玻璃瓶回收率。

Based on two concepts, "Glass Recycling" and "Regeneration", the design encourages the public deeper participation in the recycling process and increases the recycling rate of glass bottles.

探索「回收」與「創造」之間的矛盾與共生。

以製造玻璃器物的原料本身就是玻璃為題，在建構與破壞的同時，尋求有意義的無限循環。

玻璃及材質

Glass & Material

再製：以平板為單位，製作長紅玻璃、壓花玻璃等不同紋理的玻璃片，可周期性的替換變化或者以小單位堆疊、分割等延伸運用。

轉化：對回收桶內的酒瓶有外觀及輪廓上的轉化，將其轉為共創的元素。

光影：運用玻璃平板獨特的紋理及回收酒瓶的透光性，共同創造光影效果。

Remade : Remade with recycled glass, the panels can be replaced with different textured ones or stacked with small units.

Transformation : Transform the appearance and contour of the bottle in the recycling bin into a co-created element.

Light : Use the unique texture of glass plate and the light transmittance of bottle to present the light and shadow effect.

III. Final Design ｜機構與美學的結合

整體裝置具互動性、美感、機能性，酒瓶的堆疊容量變化在兩側的玻璃平板以及街道上都產生獨特的光影效果，同時作為城市光景的公共藝術裝置。透過玻璃的紋理結合酒瓶的透光性以及光線折射，使光影效果隨著投入的酒瓶改變，讓使用者得以參與其中，以有趣的方式促使及引導民眾參與回收行為，集中收集以往被棄置的玻璃瓶，使其有效的進入循環系統，繼續創造價值。

The installation is interactive, aesthetic, and functional. At the same time, it serves as a public art installation of the city scene. Through the glass texture and light refraction of the bottles, the light changes with the accumulated number of bottles, allowing users to participate in the recycling process.

材料

Materials

＃金屬 Metal

外層金屬殼：使用薄鐵板作為主要外觀，採用 2mm 的鐵板彎折而成，以減輕整體重量。

內層活動鐵架：內部使用金屬沖孔板、中空管與細鋼條構成，以現成材料搭配螺栓、焊接減少製作成本。

Metal shell: using 2mm iron plate to reduce the overall weight.

Movable frame: Composed of metal punching plate, hollow tube and thin steel bar. It is made of ready-made materials with bolts and welding to reduce the production cost.

＃玻璃 Glass

再生玻璃板：目前以 5mm 厚度之長虹玻璃為主，往後亦可以現有技術之玻璃沙、玻璃磚堆疊作為延伸運用。

更換：將上蓋螺絲拆卸即可抽換玻璃飾板。

Glass plate: Used 5mm thickness moru patterned glass

Replacement: Remove the upper cover screw and Change the patterned glass plate.

使用性設計

Form Follows Function

＃氣味防逸 Odorless

門板：在投入口安裝活動門片與橡膠封條，利用配重機構，使門片能以酒瓶的重量自然推開，沒有使用時自動關閉避免氣味散逸。

集水盒：最下層的軌道採用具導流道設計之無孔鐵板，將上層低落的酒瓶殘餘液體導流至底部水盒，方便收集殘餘液體。

Door Plate: movable door plate and rubber seal are installed at the entrance, which can be opened naturally with the weight of the bottle and automatically closed to avoid odor when not in use.
Water Collecting Box: the lowest track adopts iron plate with diversion design, which diverts the dripping residual liquid from the top to the bottom.

＃震動 Vibration

軌道設計以腳踩的方式使單層個別上下震動加速收集效率。

The track vibrates with the foot to accelerate the collection efficiency.

＃收集 Collection

門板向上抽起收集廢玻璃瓶，特殊設計之滑軌讓兩側門板往上提取約 30 公分即可整片取下，進行必要之維修。

The door panel is lifted up to collect the glass bottles, and the specially designed sliding rail allows the two sides of the door panel to lift up about 30cm to remove the whole piece for necessary maintenance.

＃移動 Mobility

底部車輪：兩顆定向、兩顆萬向輪，提高整體機動性、移動穩定性。

The swivel wheels with brakes at the bottom improve the overall mobility and stability.

滿載額量：55 瓶以上，約 27.5 kg（以目前市售之精釀啤酒瓶為準）

光影

Illumination

白天時以陽光為主要光源，隨著酒瓶的數量、排列方式、光線照射角度的不同，使站點光影持續呈現不同的面貌。
上層太陽板在吸收日光後，能於夜間使投射燈自動亮起，並供應其六至八小時的電力，作為公共藝術裝置，共創城市光景

The installation creates light and shadow effects through sunlight during the day. After absorbing sunlight, the upper solar panels can automatically light up at night and provide power for 6~8 hours. Through the glass texture and light refraction of the bottles, the light changes with the accumulated number of bottles, allowing users to participate in the recycling process in a fun way.

IV. Application ｜不只是回收

回收站上層些微的凹陷，可依照不同使用情境，另外加掛功能性配件使用。以精釀啤酒戶外攤車使用為例，可在裝置兩側加裝桌板，做為活動式吧台，約為一般高腳椅、站立式酒吧桌之高度。使用完畢時也可疊至上層的凹陷空間中，便於收納移動。

除了再生玻璃板外，更可以回收玻璃再製成杯墊等延伸配件，讓使用者可以直接看到並使用回收玻璃的利用成果，更加深對玻璃循環概念的印象，並提高回收意願與品牌認同感。

The groove on the top of the recycling station can be used according to different situations. For instance, the table boards could be installed on both sides of the device to serve as a movable bar table, and they could be stored in the upper part of the bin after usage. Besides glass panels, recycled glass can be made into various extended accessories such as coasters and glasses to present the cyclic regeneration results to the public. Users can directly use recycled glass products, deepen the impression of the concept of glass recycling, and improve recycling willingness.

外側玻璃板可抽換不同顏色紋理進行週期性之更替，作為商業聯名、宣傳的光景站點，創造一個可長期運作的商業模式。

長虹玻璃內側平面可以使用卡典切割、玻璃噴砂加工等方式呈現圖樣、商標，也可採用玻璃磚、玻璃沙堆疊，呈現更多元的外觀。

The glass plate can be used as a commercial joint, promotional site, to create a long-term operation of the business model.
The patterns and trademarks can be presented by cutting words, glass sandblasting, glass bricks and glass sand stacked to present a more diversified appearance.
