An extremely fun project, involving puppets, cards, poker, intrigue, love, betrayal and all kinds of thrills.

 

 

Concept art for both the main characters. Their final designs ended up totally different, but their personality traits remain.

 

 

Here's the storyboard. You can see some annotations and scribbles made during the production.

 

 

This is were the magic happened. These things are very tricky to make, but all that hard work really paid off.

 

 

Fun times with the puppets. They were not easy to control, needing twoo puppeteers each. A lot of coordination, direction and practice did the trick.
