Talenthouse is an artwork submission & contest website that I frequent often. This was my second submission for a Chris Stapleton "What are you listening to?" Poster contest.
All lettering was hand drawn and left "rough" looking on purpose, to show the fun side of the somg. The beard and face were provided in the contest files from a previous sticker Chris had made. The border was a portion of that sticker, as well.
I took the sticker and ripped it apart, adding more length to the beard and made the border from other pieces. Chris's logo and color scheme were poached from his website.
I really wanted to create something new for Chris, while maintaining the image he was already using, Image is everything, especially for a musician. His album was already being marketed with this imaging. I found it fitting to use it as well.
