Fender Stratocaster

Final Project for 3D For Multimedia.

We were instructed to model any object of our choice. I decided to model the Fender Stratocaster. The Fender Stratocaster is a model of electric guitar designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares.

For the posters, I decided to portray the Stratocaster with a bit of grunge and yet make it look clean, sort of like formal-rock. Used some dispersion to distort the guitar, with different elements in each poster.

For the video, I decided to go along with the classic electric guitar style, sort of like rock and roll, and chose a song that’s fast-paced with very distinctive beats.

I simulated a concert environment with spotlights and flashing lights, added depth of field to the close shots and made sure my angles were dynamic to suit the tempo of the video. At the end of the video, I made the guitar explode as a representation for the finale of the concert.
