People will gather up where Cross-Post is installed. Receive some information while throwing away trash. In order to create a suitable public property for this type of gathering place. Cross-post was designed base on the idea of HUB, a centre of activity. This is not an egoistic public trash which puts the form as its first priority, but to achieve its concept being the icon for the city. Cross-Post not only is appropriate for the media, has beautiful curve surface, but most importantly, it pursue the essence of the act of a person who will use this trash. No sharp corners, gentle and simple form with volume and symbolic holes. The goal was to create a hub-like icon that omitted all unnecessary designs to showcase its beautiful silhouette.
クロスポストが存在する所にいろんな人が集まって何かを捨て、何かを得る。その「場作り」に相応しい公共物としての造形、ハブ的なプロダクトとしてのデザイン。形状としてエゴイスティックにならず、メディアとしての美しい面を纏った形状を追及し、その行為の本質を模索していく内に「街のアイコン」と言うコンセプトにたどり着きました。角の無いモノフォルムで柔和なボリュームに、シンボリックな捨て口。美しいシルエット以外の一切の余計な意匠を省いたハブ的アイコンのデザインを目指しました。
Cross post設置的地方，集結各式各樣的人。人們在這裡丟棄不需要的東西，也同時得到新的東西。為追求這樣的場景，這款垃圾桶以「集散地」為概念而設計。不單單專注於造型，不單單是個垃圾桶，Cross post集結人們，使彼此產生互動, 也能配合廣告成為一種宣傳工具，也因此採用圓滑優美的曲線，貫徹這樣具有意義性的設計。沒有稜角而柔和的特徵，搭配簡單方便投遞的垃圾投入口。除了追求美的視覺效果，更重視「集散地」的構想，省略一切多餘的裝飾。
