Take Care: The How-To Manual for Every Type of Self Care
When assigned to create a how-to manual of any topic, I chose to create one on self care. Self care is an important step in taking care of your mental health and often overlooked. Self care has also become more popular during the pandemic, trying to ease our minds and bodies from the stress going on in the world. 
This how-to manual was designed to be a personal guide on how self care can fit into your lifestyle. I explain each type of self care and what that can look like for an individual, suggesting ideas that you might not have thought was self care. 

My intention was to design this manual as a sketchbook, as if the reader has written and drawn personal examples of self care. Sketchbooks create a feeling of familiarity and intimacy. Hand-drawn details and interactive exercises provide an experience that can only be found in a diary or journal. The friendly and fun color palette opens up the reader to the joys of self care and its potential to enrich their daily life.
