Worth-flower

'wallflower' 는 외톨이라는 의미를 담고 있다. 누군가는 들꽃을 보고 특별히 예쁘지도, 눈에 띄지도 않는 콘크리트 사이에 핀 꽃이라고 여길 수 있지만, 피어나기 까지의 커다란 장애물을 깨고 나온 '가치있는' 존재라는 의미를 담았다.

'Wallflower' connotes loner. Someone think that wild flowers that bloom between concrete are not particularly pretty or noticeable. but they mean that they are "worthful" that broke the big obstacle to blooming.

Design concept

도시에 사는 사람들은 사람에 의해 만들어진 조경, 콘크리트 건물 같은 인공적인 환경 속에서 살아간다.

때로는 차갑고 각박하게 느껴지는 도시에서 사람들은 외로움과 우울감을 느낀다.

이러한 도심 속에서, 부드러운 땅이 아닌 콘크리트 벽이라는 어려운 환경을 뚫고 핀 작은 들꽃을 보고 용기와 따뜻한 위로를 받는다.

책상은 스트레스를 많이 받을 수 있는 업무 공간이며, 충전기는 그 공간에 필수적으로 놓이는 제품이다.

이러한 제품 안에 작지만 강한 생명력을 가진 꽃 속에 담긴 의미를 사용자들에게 전달하고자 하였다.

People in city live in intended artificial environments such as landscaping and concrete buildings.
Sometimes people feel lonely and depressed in a city that feels cold and tough.

In this downtown area, people receive courage and warm comfort from small wildflower that blooms through the difficult environment as concrete walls, not soft soil.

A desk is a stressful work space, and a charger is an essential product for that space.

With these products, I intended to convey the meaning of flowers that have small but strong vitality.

Background

코로나 19로 인해 방안에서 많은 시간을 보내면서 나만의 공간을 꾸미고자 하는 사람들이 늘어났다. 특히 화상회의 등으로 방이 카메라에 비춰지므로 깔끔하고

잘 정돈된 인테리어를 선호한다. 책상 위를 깔끔하게 정리할 수 있다는 장점 때문에 무선, 소형 가전의 수요가 높게 나타나며, 꾸밈 요소로 식물 등으로 포인트를 준다.

COVID-19 has increased the number of people who spend a lot of time in the room and want to decorate their own space.

In particular, the room is exposed on the camera due to video conferences, so it makes prefer a neat and well-organized interior.
Since the advantage can organize the desk neatly, demand of home appliances for wireless is going to high.

식물은 업무 능률을 향상 시켜주기 때문에 업무 공간의 소품으로 배치하기 적합하다. 차가운 업무 환경의 분위기를 바꿔주기도 한다.

하지만 책상에 공간이 부족하다면 둘 곳이 마땅하지 않고, 오히려 방해가 되는 경우가 있다. 또한 주로 생활하는 공간에서 멀리 배치하면 관리가 소홀해 질 수 있다.

이러한 점을 개선하기 위해 무선 충전기와 화분을 결합하여 차지하는 면적을 줄여 실용성을 높이고, 잘 보이는 곳에 배치 할 수 있으며, 매력적인 소품으로도 연출할 수 있는 무선 충전기를 디자인한다.

Plants can be good decorative elements in interior. They are suitable interior accessory in the work space due to they improve work efficiency.
It also changes cold atmosphere of the work environment.

However, if there is not enough space on the desk, rather they can be a hindrance.

Also, if it placed away from the space where people usually live, management can be neglected.

To improve this, we designed a wireless charger that combines flowerpot. It can be placed in a well-visible location, and can also be directed with attractive props.
