Background
CHAU means "see you soon" in Spanish, and it is a wireless charger that can move freely.
CHAU는 스페인어로 "곧 다시 만나"라는 뜻으로, 이동이 자유로운 무선 충전기이다.

Wireless chargers freed electronic devices from wires and brought convenience to our daily lives.
However, while wired charging allows movement in a certain space, wireless chargers cannot move the smart phone while charging. Therefore, it is more suitable as a vehicle or office product with relatively little movement of the smart phone.
A time when telecommuting became commonplace due to the pandemic and the boundary between office and home became blurred, I wondered what if wireless chargers, which are office supplies, come home? And this project started with the question.
무선 충전기는 전자기기를 선으로부터 해방시켰고 우리의 일상생활에 편리함을 가져다줬다. 그러나 유선 충전기가 일정 공간에서의 움직임이 가능한 반면 무선 충전기는 충전 중 핸드폰을 이동할 수 없다. 그 때문에 비교적 핸드폰의 움직임이 적은 차량용품이나 사무 용품으로 더 적합하다. 코로나의 장기화로 재택근무가 보편화되고 사무실과 집의 경계가 모호해진 시기, ’사무 용품인 무선 충전기가 집에 오게 된다면?'이라는 물음을 시작으로 이 프로젝트가 시작되었다.
CHAU is a wireless charger focused on free movement. When you need to move while charging, such as when moving from desk to bed or from room to room, you can charge the battery by separating the part with the built-in auxiliary battery.
CHAU는 자유로운 이동에 초점을 맞춘 무선 충전기이다. 책상에서 침대로, 방에서 방으로 이동할 때와 같이 충전 중 이동이 필요한 경우 보조배터리가 내장된 파트를 분리해 충전할 수 있다.
