The ten week long design project of our third year of college was an intense craft research on the Khes of Punjab. This was documented in the form of a book, informing one about its weaving traditions, its history, its makers, the impact due to the Partition of India on it and its current scenario. I along with Arjunvir Singh researched about this handwoven multipurpose thick piece of textile in Punjab where the tradition of weaving it is dying. Below are some images of the book.
