I’ve decided to take up a challenge and improve "Audioteka" app experience — to redesign the user interface and experience using a well-defined design creation process. I was inspired by A. Ericsson and R.Pool book “Peak. Secrets from the new science of expertise” and pushed myself to try one of three professional improvement exercises — “Purposeful practice”. This kind of practice focuses on achieving specific goals that must be measurable, actionable, and time-bound.
This case study focuses on visual representation to better reveal the differences between the before and after design stages and show my creative approach through the whole process of design.
I’ve chosen the product I really love and comprehend well, and I believe that when you are a good match with the domain of your work, positive surprises are bound to happen in the professional realm. And for me, this project was significant proof for this hypothesis. Let’s check it!
