This is an insignia based on a perfect cube, illustrated with drawing ink.
My approach was to firstly play with 2D and 3D structures and secondly to work with black and white spaces. Both, black and white can be seen as some sort of nothingness. The illustrations and the architecture form themselves out of the black spaces and vanish into the white.
The illustration can only be seen as a whole from a certain perspective. Thus the 2D and 3D structure sort of blend into one structure. This creates a new space between the clearly 2-dimensional and clearly 3-dimensional space…
