Starlight Cadet:
Created During Behance Live Streams
In 2020, I began streaming live for the Adobe Education Leaders Program here on Behance. Adobe had asked me if I would be interested in streaming live and I liked the idea of inspiring the Adobe community.
When thinking about what I wanted to create during a live stream, I started going through some of my old sketches and found this one. Originally, the sketch was done in 2018 as an answer to Angie Nasca's (@angiensca) draw this in your own style challenge on Instagram. My idea was to take her original sketch and make less cartoony... and give the character a video game style.

The entire graphic was created using Adobe Illustrator on an XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro Display Monitor.
This is the final rendering of the character illustration, the background is from Adobe Stock. Lens flares were also added to her headphones. Additionally, I added an overlay with some pink and blue highlights to show the light being reflected onto her.
Here you can see the very beginning stages of the live streams, where I created the line art. You can also see my original sketch and Angie Nasca's artwork as a reference for the colors.

I wanted also showcase the eyes and eye shadow that I created. I decided to give her eye shadow that matched not only her eyes, but her costume.
