The Watcher is 30lbs of foam, aluminum, PVC, LEDs, wires, and mechanics. The body, legs and tail are made entirely out of EVA foam on a PVC skeleton, while the neck is fully articulated using an aluminum parallelogram, bungie cables and rope.
On this costume almost everything moves — the tail bobs aimlessly side to side as it walks, the neck can dip down to the floor and raise to about 6 feet high, the head can turn side to side, the legs walk and compress as the body animates, and the eye changes from a friendly blue to an aggressive red. There was a lot of planning, engineering and luck involved with the entirety of this build. Aloy by GenGenChu
