Rebrand
Our team was given the task of revamping Commvault’s look and feel to give it a more modern, youthful, and impactful appearance without changing their logo. By updating the palette to include fresh new colours like raspberry, peacoat, and amber, we were able to breathe new life into the brand and allow it to stand out amongst its competitors.

Data in motion
By introducing new elements to the brand, we were able to create a visual representation of data moving and changing over time while still remaining contained within the Commvault bug. Animating the “Data Hexes” allowed us to create a variety of impactful motion graphics for trade-show booths, presentations, the brand manifesto, and most importantly for their conference, Commvault GO 2019.

Typography
To give Commvault a more personal feel, we updated their typography to include a stylized serif font for large titles and pull quotes. The use of this font was accompanied by the sans-serif counter part for body copy and subheads in order to prevent overuse.

Commvault GO 2019
In order to launch the new look and feel, we built a stylized theme for their yearly conference, Commvault GO. By using aspirational duo-toned imagery, bold raspberry type, and by integrating the Commvault bug, now infused with ever changing data, we were able to create an impactful entrance for their clients to witness this new beginning.

Data Therapy
Sometimes you get impossible asks from clients and you’ve just got to try and wing it — introducing our Data Therapy sessions! We created a series of short 40 second video ads for Commvault featuring a special data therapist. They never went viral like the client wanted, but they were still a lot of fun!
