Project - Principles of Marketing Course (MK123)
For this course, we were assigned a project to create a fictitious product or service. We needed to produce a marketing plan as well as design promotional tools for our specific product/service. The product that I had created was Tuba!
Tuba! is locally made tuba, bottled and sold locally.
Challenges -
An initial challenge for this project was that I had no prior knowledge on the process of making tuba. This opened up a door for me to do research and gain necessary information. In turn, this led me to the opportunity of interviewing a long time manåmko' (elderly) tuba maker on island to gain a better insight on my product.
Goal -
I designed a logo and print advertisement with the intention of showcasing a small part of the Chamorro culture.
