这本书希望通过设计让人触摸到某些消逝……本书记录灭绝动物曾经的存在，也记录了它们消失的原因与过程。封面专色银印制动物栩栩如生，银色中却暗藏刮刮乐涂层，掩盖了动物死亡的原因，使用中磨损会促使刮刮乐消失，真相呈现——断裂的鹿角、消失的皮纹——人类为获取动物的角与皮毛对其过度捕猎，致使其灭绝。缓缓刮开之时，正是动物们生命逐渐消逝之时。
书中图片珍贵，但像素损失严重……本书在印刷工艺和装帧设计上下足了功夫，特意设计了与像素不高的照片相呼应的信息碎片与干扰元素来提升画册的质感与氛围，虚实交接，亦梦亦幻，观来更令人为生灵之死感到痛心。

We hope the readers could touch the missing via designing. This book take records of extinct animals, including the reasons and the progress. There is a scratch-off layer on the cover. While you scratch off the layer, you will see the reasons why the animals die out——broken antlers, disappearing furs.
The photos in the book are very rare. However, the quality is quite bad with terrible pixel loss. The designer uses the fragments and interference elements to echo the low-res photos, makes efforts to improve the book’s sense of quality and atmosphere.
