The project brief was to take a General Conference talk from the most recent conference, what you would like to share with someone, and make it into a multi-page gift booklet. The goal is for the booklet to be legible, readable, beautiful. Let the content direct the design, where possible.
The booklet size is 7 x 10”, an eight-page booklet, plus front and back covers. Solid typesetting and typographic design, and silks are the intentions of this project. A grid structure was used to ensure mathematical beauty throughout the booklet and design principles of hierarchy, contrast, negative space, and others. Only one photo of the speaker is allowed, captioned—special attention to page numbers, paragraph, and character styles throughout.
