Business Card
Avenir Next LT Pro Regular and Bold and Baskerville MT Pro Regular and Italic
The project instruction was to create a personal business card for a designer, either web or graphic. The emphasis was to be typographic. Elements that were to be included are as follows: name or letters from the name as primary design elements, font(s) to be used from the specified class list and variances are allowed and encouraged, and size is to be 3.5 x 2 inches. The card must contain a personal name, title, address, phone numbers, email, social link, and web address. No photography is allowed; card back is required but purely decorative. Three colors are required.
I chose to use two fonts, Baskerville MT Pro and Avenir Next LT Pro, in different ways, which used a lot of variety for my card. I used three colors, black, teal, and grey. I opted for as much white space as I could get so that the focus was on my name and information, after a glance at the logo and title, keeping the card clean and straightforward yet appealing to look at.
