People always ask me how they can land projects of this scale and once they do, how to stay calm to keep from underperforming.

In reality it's really quite simple and logical. Get your work out there for other people to see. A lot of work. Don't make one thing and expect it to go viral. Eventually the clients will come to you. It took me 4 years of working very hard to get to the level I'm at. And I'm only now starting to get some bigger projects.
Speaking of working hard, it's best to pick a specific creative discipline or way of working and try to become really, really good at that. That way you will stand out. Which is very important in today's social media landscape. Stick to one thing you love and don't let go. Ever. People calling themselves multidisciplinary most of the times are just mediocre at a lot of things. So don't be that person, and don't give up.

As for being scared of underperforming, I would suggest becoming very knowledgeable at what it is you do, so you feel confident. Read up on stuff, learn what your peers are doing in their respective fields and keep your eyes open at all times. Once you get going, just create like you always do and try to enjoy the process as much as possible.

In the end being a creative is a privilege. And we have to keep creating in order to reinvent ourselves. So don't be scared. A white canvas is like the start of a beautiful adventure. And you get to pick what kind of adventure it will be. What's better than that?

Anyways, thanks for checking out this project! Hope you lovely designers/ creators out there were able to take away something from this.
