This specimen is about the typeface called Memphis designed by Rudolf Wolf in 1929 for the Stempel
Type Foundry. It consists of three parts: a short historical introduction, a sample of the character
(a basic policy including glyphs, marks, capitals, lowercase) and a personal interpretation of an extract
of Exercices de style by Raymond Queneau (Gallimard, 1947).
