The 2013 Dios de la Adrenalina Tour consisted of two acrobatic stilt-dancing companies: The Carpetbag Brigade (SF) and Nemcatacoa Teatro (Bogota). These photos are examples of on-going documentation work from three separate locations taken in May and June 2013. The first series was taken on the cliff-side across from the "arcology" of Arcosanti, AZ where the groups rehearsed for the first 5 weeks of the tour. The photo session was art-directed by myself with help from Adam Cooper-Tehran and creative assistance from the performers. The second and third series were taken at Hopi Nation Cultural Center and Firefly Gathering 2013 respectively.
While on the tour, I also did extensive and regular repair for the costumes featured in the video above. I also took a lot of video for the documentary they were making, and hope to have access to samples of that soon.
