Cover Designs
These are published book covers for college-level, educational texts, designed for Pearson Learning Solutions out of Boston. The designs utilize Quark, ID, Ps and Ai. They are created working independently within the Creative Dept. to fulfill requests, sometimes receiving coaching or critique from senior designers. During the busy season, designers may be expected to produce as many as ten covers a day, but the featured designs are those that have had a little more time - from a few hours to as many as four days.
Pearson Learning Solutions awarded the above "Cover Design of the Year" for 2010. It also was judged a winner in the college category of Bookbuilders of Boston's 54th Annual New England Book Show.
