As an Social Media Strategy Intern at Horizon Media during the summer of 2013, I worked very closely with senior social strategists to develop media plans, campaigns, and social strategy for Captial One Finance.

I helped to negotiate an allocation of funds for a LinkedIn aquisition campaign to help grow their follower base on their company LinkedIn page by creating media plans, incertion orders, and entering all information into SBMS. Once the campaign began, I helped monitor its progress to develop a reporting template.

BuzzFeed: Capital One sponsorered the Hot Badge, a new feed that tracked articles that were bound to become trending, and created the KaChing badge to promote the new Quicksilver Cash Back card. Capital One also recieved instream ads with the buy.
Quicksilver implimented the fairly new post-checkin Foursquare ads.
We planned and implimented a promoted tweet and promoted account campaign that integrated the new Twitter TV Targeting to target consumers immediately after they watched a Capital One Finance commercial on TV.
We were able to utilize a Twitter Brand Study to learn about the brand from the eyes of the consumer.

We helped to a create mid-year campaign to promote Capital One's Venture Travel Card.
Using the vendor SocialVibe, we helped to create an interactive Bucket List creater on a Facebook tab on their page. Users can explore different locations on the globe using Google Street View, and then can add the locations to their bucket  list and share it with their friends.
