DVD-Kids is a universal remote control for DVD players. The remote is bundled with a singalong DVD. The goal of the project was to design a remote control that could resemble a microphone without taking that idea to literal, rather have the shape trigger the child’s imagination, allowing them to think it’s a mic. The remote also takes into consideration the habit of the youngest users when they use both hands when utilizing the device.
