EXHIBITION: VIBRANT

Modern Scandinavian Design is a movement driven by simplistic and minimalistic design, that also incorporates speckles of playfulness and vivid colors. Scandinavian artists such as Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt and Jonas Wageel, do not force abstract forms into their work- their designs generally derive from rudimentary shapes and forms that are modernized through interesting composition and rich color.

The goal of this assignment was to create a modular and portable traveling exhibit that showcases and explains Modern Scandinavian Design.

Our exhibit was to embody a clear message about Modern Scandinavian Design while communicating key information in a compelling 3D environment. Exhibits were required to be compact, lightweight, and easily transportable by 2 people, and to be complete in 3 weeks.
