The objective of this assignment was to come up with a creative packaging solution that uses a minimum amount of material and that best displays, protects and merchandizes a product.

 

The product chosen to be packaged is a potential design of a RISD pencil case. While the exterior packaging demonstrates a dark-gray background with a simple, graphic design of three pencils, the interior unveils a designed page of graphite strokes. The two components of the pencil case are connected by a string-tie closure.
