The Lexmark Center for Children

The Lexmark Center for Children is a state-of-the-art childcare facility for children and grandchildren of Lexmark employees. The center opened on-site September 2013 with a focus on STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, art, & math).
 
In developing the logo, the strongest calling was to draw from the characterisitcs of the building's calming colors & architecture (clean lines & simple shapes). A sense of playfulness came by incorporating a row of off-axis colorful icons which reflect a few of the STEAM disciplines.
