Wine aroma has long been a tantalising influencer in selecting wines. Bellingham takes this concept to a new level with it’s ‘scratch n sniff’ range that lets shoppers get a sense of the aroma and taste of the wine from the label – a first for the wine industry. Initially launching Mocha Java with an iconic graphic, half wine/half coffee, that is printed on special paper and lets you sniff the distinctive caffe-choco scent, a hint of the wine within. This was followed by Citrus Grove with its lemon-shaped part wine/part fruit graphic and distinctive citrusy scent – all in innovative lightweight bottles.
