'Cat Letters' is an adult story written by cats trying to understand what happens to their owners. There are some political issues, emigration, news from newspapers, etc.
That's why I decided to show the view through the cat's silhouette.
Also, I chose paper as a medium similar to letters sent by cats' owners, where cats could make their marks.
I did some paper experiments.
As there are lots of cats-storytellers in the book, there are different silhouettes like different views:
The publisher chose the idea of a paper tunnel.
So I used a tunnel book technique and made a kind of tunnel with cat silhouettes:
I used the light of my phone torch to get interesting photos of the paper tunnel:
Then we chose the best photo, and I added a man and a cat living in a cat-shaped room.
Voila! Here's the book:
