Over the years it has been my privilege and pleasure to design for Samsung.
In 2018 I was invited to design a suit of bespoke furniture for the launch their flagship Audio Visual range, QLED.
The challenge:
Display a broad portfolio of premium products as "Best in Class", whilst securing premium placement within all John Lewis stores across the UK.
By working hand in glove with my longtime partnered manufacturer; we achieved this and so much more.

Navigating the audio-visual department of any store can be a daunting, intimidating challenge for the great majority of us.
My aim was to affect shoppers through reassurance, to create a calm, safe haven.
One area to inspire, invite and engage; franchising browsers, towards Samsung.
My proposal...
The Angels.
My core goal was to set up a strong relationship and clear navigation between the numerous displays and product ranges.
I imagined a clean, crisp object.
One which created a singular connection without over-powering the displayed products.
My design proposal was to sit each product upon a single sheet of white Corian, cushioned upon a halo of light.
Composed to deliver a soft delicate illusion of weightlessness, complimenting QLED’s design values.
Beneath, supporting AV equipment could be housed or displayed with concealed illumination where appropriate.
Countersunk POS areas were concealed with deep chamfered acrylic
lenses.
Adding subtle cues of weight, refinement and value to key communication materials
A key design challenge was maintaining a simple, clear design language over many product configurations and development iterations.
Only through close and trusted collaboration, were we able to achieve a highly refined, yet, restrained design.
To this day, The Angels remain center stage within all, John Lewis stores across the UK.
A genuine testament to the dedication and professionalism of all involved in such a successful project.
I feel lucky and grateful to have been a part of such an amazing project.
