This is a paper relief art piece that was inspired by a Centennial Year of Canada souvenir plate. I have a passion for paper folding, so this was a perfect way to present my skills. Each flower that is circling around the Canada leaf are the provincial flowers of the provinces of Canada. I
One of the main challenges that I faced in this project was making the flowers. Each of the flowers is different and there isn’t any origami tutorial that shows how to distinctly make each type of flowers. BUT, the advantage is, I have been folding origami since I was little, so I have learned to create my own and for this project, I was able to create my own flowers, which resembles the original flowers.
