The Guardian US contacted me to illustrate their special about the 2020 US Elections.
The original project was about illustrate every Democratic candidate who was running to presidential elections of 2020. The project was evolving and making bigger and bigger so we ended up making Republicans candidates too. We also included a lead illustration which could represent the multiple available options to defeat Trump.
The idea was to have a dynamic and upgraded article able to grow with every new candidate. It took us more than a year to complete de whole set with more than 30 portraits.
