Visual Essays
This visual essay was for my Production Methods I class, where I had to make one on Johannes Gutenberg's invention: the printing press. I explored how not only he was an artist, but a smart businessman who solved a major problem in his time.

I was only allowed to make the essay in an analog manner; not using any digital elements to make the layout. As a result, I printed the text that I needed for the work, and cut out some images from old books.
This visual essay was for my Typography class, and this time, it is on the history of the typeface Helvetica. Compared to the first one, there is not much going on because I believe that that is what Helvetica is: it is simple enough to be read, while also being aesthetically pleasing enough to be seen.
