BOOKXCESS DESIGN
The client which had been chosen is BookXcess which is located at Level 3 of The Starling Mall in Damansara Utama. It offers plenty of open spaces for bookworms to meander through shelves upon shelves of books.
CONCEPT
The inspiration of concept is came from shape of tunnel and it is also had used by BookXcess as their concept previously. As what had see in daily lives, tunnel has the repetition of the layers and the tunnel shape has develop into repetition with different direction which is horizontal and continue with the vertical lines.
The mood which be used is “Relax”. So, for the interior space most of the colours which have been used are more to nature mood such as white, green and brown. Besides, materials which have been used are particle board, laminated wood, laminated glass, carpet and tiles.
