文化部文化資產局特展 《國寶光影》
A Discourse of Light and Shadows:The National Treasures of Taiwan
本展立足於臺灣，聚焦於國寶。「國寶光影」以「光」貫穿全場，
既象徵空間與物件的本質，也以「影」隱喻時間與文化的價值。
國寶的故事從史前談起，一窺數千年前人類取之於自然、從而製作出的玉裝飾品。時序流轉，原住民族以祖靈柱表達祖靈信仰與部落傳說，人與過去、現在及未來的聯繫方式有了多元呈現。隨著先民渡海來臺，漢人聚落逐漸形成，各式宗廟林立，與信仰緊密相關的工藝也隨之蓬勃發展，繼而有如葉麟趾的交趾陶大師作品出現。既為了人，更為了神，文化便循此脈絡向前發展。
有形與無形，恰如光與影，是物質與價值永無止境的映襯與對話，更是文化資產得以完整保存、傳承、弘揚的關鍵。
國寶的價值，絕不只停留於被指定的剎那，而是會如光影般的持續遞嬗，成就經典的永恆。
The national treasures of Taiwan consist of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage. These treasures lay the foundation for the narrative of this exhibition. The tale of Taiwan’s national treasures began in prehistoric times, when humans took raw materials from nature and created jade ornaments. As time passed, the indigenous people of Taiwan made ancestral spirit poles to manifest their myths and beliefs, which connected the people to their past and future. Later on, as Chinese people migrated across the Taiwanese Strait, settlements were created that embodied Han Chinese culture. Temples and ancestral shrines were built, artisanal practices associated with religious beliefs prospered, and masterpieces relating to these arts emerged, such as that of Yeh Wang’s Koji Pottery. Culture began to take shape along this path, where men and their beliefs shaped the world of art.
This exhibition aims to create conversations between the tangible and the intangible, the past and the present, and most importantly, between cultural heritage and its values. Just as shadow can only exist with the presence of light, the crucial coexistence of intangible and tangible heritage is illustrated in the exhibition design that is based on the contrast of shadow and light. Please follow the light, immerse yourself in the shadows, and embark on a journey to experience the national treasures of Taiwan.
