For this project, we were tasked to design a magazine featuring a notable designer of our choice. I chose Alexander Girard, a designer well-known for his textile work but also well-versed in product design and architecture. With this in mind, I went with the headline 'Alexander Girard: The Fabric of America.' Girard was very confident in his design. He was a trailblazer when it came to using bright colors, patterns, and textures. Design before him tended to be more monotonous and straight to the point. Girard brought excitement to the table.
