Siera Sun Pottery Brand Identity Design
Brand identity design for Siera Sun Pottery, a handmade small batch pottery and goods company based in Florida, United States.
Siera Lockhart creator of Siera Sun Pottery is a potter with a love for living small and nature. Siera runs her pottery studio out of her RV as she travels the States.
The brand identity design deliverables include a logo, a badge and a set of ceramic stamp designs which are imprinted into each of her one of a kind pots. The logo is designed to be multi functional and work well for social media, website, Etsy as well as print.
The inspiration for the brand identity design is from South Western desert and Aztec art. I used an earthy colour palate of burnt orange, terracotta and sand to echo the colours of desert, clay and glazes. For the type, I used a boho style display font to represent the artisanal nature of the brand. The hand drawn illustrations have a purposeful naivety that reflects the down to earth qualities that Siera Sun embodies.
