First forays into climbing photography
Over the course of the last five years or so I have taken up climbing as both a more serious hobby and as a photo motive. I haven't had the opportunity to invest a lot of time into the photography side so far, but it's a very photogenic field, so I'm sure that I will keep exploring it in the future. I live in Bayreuth, which is very close to a very famous climbing area, the Frankenjura. It's home to some truly iconic routes in the history of climbing, such as "Action Directe", the first route graded XI / 9a /5.14d in difficulty and first ascended by Wolfgang Güllich in 1991. Below are some first results, from the Frankenjura and also from some other areas. Have fun checking them out!! :)
