A story about ideas that take shape
We have created a story for the only open R&D laboratory in Russia. The name, logo and corporate identity convey the image of an ultra-innovative laboratory that is shaping the health food industry at the level of the world's highest achievements. This is where ideas take shape.

A client turned to us to develop a brand for an international full cycle biotechnology laboratory specializing in the development of products to improve the quality of human life. The full cycle includes the search and development of a product idea, development of recipes, testing, production, marketing support, educational and scientific work. The laboratory is located in the Koltsovo biotechnopark and is open to the public. Its employees provide clients with a show-room tour of all stages of product development: from idea to packaging. Also, the laboratory works as an educational platform designed to acquaint people with the most innovative developments in the field of nutritiology and nutraceuticals. There are no such open R&D laboratories in Russia.
The main direction of the laboratory development is the future. To create products of a new reality, scientists are looking for bold ideas and hypotheses, unique properties of components, innovative technologies and equipment. The full cycle of product creation, openness and focus on the future demonstrate the desire to go beyond the norm. This makes the laboratory not just innovative, but ultra innovative. This is how the image of the place where ideas take shape and the name ULTRANOVATION was born.
The visual identity is built on futuristic volumetric objects, which from shapeless bodies become the letter U. This is how we show the image of “ideas take shape”.
A variety of areas of work and products requires a dynamic identity. Therefore, we created a library of amorphous objects and U that adapt to different message contexts. The rules for their use and the construction of communication are drawn up in a brand book.

ULTRA is beyond. Everything related to ULTRANOVATION is exceptional. This theme is supported by the brand language, integrating the prefix into the text: feel ULTRA cheerfulness, ULTRA research department, ULTRA round table results, we wish ULTRA a successful day.
