1st attempt. Design was created by logo that was provided and the colours. Client wasn't too impressed. Looked a little too dark and "scarey". Must have been the fireball... Back to the digital drawing board...
2nd attempt was a success! More child friendly. Introduced more primary colours and made the GRAND OPENING text look more inviting rather than earth shattering. Was able to format the large number of sports text across the middle as well. Client was pleased. Used both Photoshop and Illustrator for this one.
This was the final design that went to print.
