We all remember (or still do) going to the dentist's office or the doctor and the highlight (no pun intended) was seeing the interactie magazines on the table, with bright colors and "find the difference" from cover to cover. Our project for Illustration Methods was to create a magazine cover in any medium, so I tried my hand at digital painting. I thought it would be fun to expand my portfolio to a kid market over the typical college age. The two sketches below are of the linework for a front and back cover.

This was the final with full color and even the banner for what was featured for the month.
