Brief Create a campaign that supports Million Trees NYC’s mission to empower New Yorkers to plant and care for trees throughout the city, while at the same time modernizing their image and helping them reach their desired demographic.
Solution Trees Are New Yorkers Too. A set of five tree characters were created to personify each of the New York boroughs. New Yorkers, famous for defending and supporting their own, are called upon to protect the trees as members of their neighborhoods. Multi-media components were created to drive home this point and make the trees visible in the hustle and bustle of the urban setting.
