Description
Virtual Tree Planting 2020 is a Facebook social engagement microsite for users to plant their own virtual tree and post positive messages. It is part of a campaign to increase social media likes and awareness of the tree planting tradition in Singapore.
I have leveraged on customised Google Map and it's API as the main development component for this project. The execution of this project is definitely something that is not commonly seen in the local scene.
Within 7 days of the microsite launch, the microsite has garnered more than 300 participants who planted their own virtual trees, 200 Facebook likes and 60 Facebook shares. As we approach the end of the two-month long campaign, the number of participants has exceeded 500.
